Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

  1. Purpose

Revilo Furniture Limited (“the Company”) is committed to conducting business in an honest, fair and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity in all our business dealings.

  1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees of Revilo Furniture Limited, regardless of seniority.
  • Contractors, consultants, agency workers, suppliers and any other third parties acting on our behalf.
  1. What is bribery?

Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting or requesting of an advantage as an inducement for action which is illegal, unethical, or a breach of trust.

Examples include:

  • Offering or accepting money, gifts or hospitality in return for favourable treatment.
  • Making “facilitation payments” to speed up a routine process.
  • Offering employment, contracts or benefits to gain a business advantage.
  1. Our policy
  • We do not, under any circumstances, pay bribes or offer improper inducements to anyone for any purpose.
  • We do not accept bribes or improper inducements from others.
  • Hospitality, gifts and promotional expenditure must always be reasonable, proportionate, and clearly related to a legitimate business purpose.
  • Facilitation payments (small, unofficial payments to secure services) are strictly prohibited.
  • Third parties acting on our behalf must comply with this policy.
  1. Responsibilities
  • All employees and representatives must ensure they understand and comply with this policy.
  • Managers are responsible for communicating and enforcing this policy within their teams.
  • Concerns about potential bribery or corruption must be reported immediately to senior management.
  1. Record-keeping

The Company will maintain accurate records of all hospitality, gifts and expenses. Any offer or acceptance of gifts or hospitality above a modest value must be recorded and approved.

  1. Breach of policy

Any breach of this policy will be treated seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal. Where applicable, breaches may also result in criminal prosecution under the UK Bribery Act 2010.

  1. Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with legal obligations and best practice.
